perineural spread of head and neck cancer

백미는
1. V2 --> pterygopalatine fossa --> Meckel's cave --> cavernous sinus, palate주변이므로 가장 중요
2. V3는  foramen ovale, cavernous sinus를 지나지 않는다. Auriculotemporal branch로 귀쪽으로 가는 branch가 있어 parotid tumor는 VII 뿐만아니라 V3를 통할 수도 있다.
3. nasopharyngeal tumor는 직접 pterygopalatine fossa를 지나 V2를 따라 갈 수도 있고 masticator space로 진행되어 V3를 타고 갈 수도 있다.

4. VII중에 GSPN은 결국은 vidian nerve가 되면서 V와 만난다. 이때 tumor spread가 서로 연결된다.
